Riesling
750 ML (Standard)
Washington,
United States
$13.99
Vineyards: 65% Roza Hills Yakima Valley, 35% Evergreen Vineyard AncientLakes of Columbia Valley.Winemaking Notes: Upon harvesting, the grapes were gently pressed and the juicewas cold settled. After racking off the solids, the juice was inoculated and allowed toferment slowly for approximately 30 days, until the proper residual sugar/acid balancewas achieved. At that point, the juice was chilled to halt the fermentation and stabilizethe wine.Winemaker Comments: The Yakima Valley has a temperate climate whichproduces a balanced, fruit forward Riesling. The Ancient Lakes of Columbia Valleyhas a unique terrior comprised of higher elevations, caliche stone and a cooler climatewhich complements Riesling with a crisp acidity and a hint of minerality.Tasting Notes:Aroma: Hints of ripe pear, white peach, citrus and orange blossom with traces of freshapple and mineral undertones are pleasing on the nose.Flavor: A round entry with fresh acidity and a fruit driven mid-palate lead to a cleanrefreshing finish.Varietal(s): 100% RieslingDate of harvest: October 16, 2013 October 28, 2013Bottled: May 2014Alcohol: 12 %Brix: 22.2R.S. 2.2%TA: (g/L): 6.6pH: 3.2Case Production: 3,500
